Just to Let Everyone Know...

...That we haven't dropped off the earth!!

Check out our new front cover design for The Warmth of His Eyes and let us know what you think by commenting below!

We are currently residing in Wichita, KS for the next three weeks as we sing for the Lord here and there. It has certainly given us girls more time to think and pray about what is really important and not so important in our lives back home in Texas.

We are currently in the process of copyrighting two of our titles and then we will publish a few hard-copies at a time, as the Lord provides. In this way, we hope to be able to grow a little at a time instead of all at once. We realize we have made a few mistakes in our marketing efforts in the past year since LMP's grand-opening last June, but we have certainly learned from them! Also, as some of you have probably noticed, our LMP email list is on hold, as well, since we are traveling and will be away until the beginning of July. Please bear with us as we make these changes. We will have an exciting literary-packed freebie of the month of July ready for you, so if you have not yet subscribed to our email list, please do so!

I am learning that my writing is truly a gift from God Himself. Of course, I always knew that but it is His to do with as He pleases. I feel that my focus needs to be on getting it out there to a hurting world instead of waiting for a thousand dollars to drop out of the sky. Yes, faith in God does require extremities sometimes, but in this case, I feel led by the Spirit that my 'waiting around' is almost for nothing.

God desires for His children to "go and do." The whole reason I took a backseat from performing constantly in our family band was to focus more on my writing and our self-publishing business - to the glory of God! I must think of others as I write and as I edit the countless short stories/novel beginnings. How will others benefit?

To help us see clearly what you are looking for, we have made a poll and ask you to answer honestly! It is located directly to the left.

In the meantime, I would ask for your prayer. Please pray with us for God's direction in our lives at this point in our lives:
*Daddy to quit his job and let God use our family band or keep his job??
*Literary Maidens Publishing company to be used solely for His glory
*Our written texts would bring honor and glory to Him
*safety on the road as we travel through Kansas and also to Colorado later this month

Thank you so much for your continued support. Don't forget to let your friends and family know about us and our endeavor to bring God's standards to life!

In Him,

for all the girls at Literary Maidens Publishing

P.S. Keep your eyes peeled for updates and announcements concerning upcoming new title releases!!

  1. I love the new cover of the book. The background photo is beautiful, and the black script of that style goes well with it. The kind of cover that would catch my eye in a book shop. :)

    Take care and God bless,

  2. Just stopping by here. :-)

Generally, I like the cover of the book. The background photo is beautiful. And I think the fonts work well together and with the background.

Have you tried replacing the black with a dark or royal purple? The black strikes me as masculine--a strange contrast to the background.

I don't like the difference in character spacing (kerning) between "A novel by" and "Christina Grubb." I'd add a little more kerning to "A novel by."

Both those things are personal preference, though. Overall I think it's good.

I want to read it someday :-)

  3. Hi Christy and all!
It was so great to meet you and your family during your recent excursion to and through Kansas! We had such a wonderful evening of fellowship and enjoyed your musical contribution to the evening. Hopefully the Lord will allow our paths to cross again in the future!
